    Axiom Software Founded

    Originally a general-purpose software company, Axiom Software was founded by Jeffrey Yagoda in Valhalla, New York.

  • 1993
    Launch of ePDS

    Launch of ePDS 1993 ePDS is officially launched, the first ERP system designed specifically for electronic parts distributors.

  • 1996
    Official Switch to SQL

    ePDS is moved to SQL, amplifying our scalability and ability to serve distributors of any size, locality, or international sales model.

  • 1996
    First EDS Show

    Axiom Software attends the industry's top leadership summit, bringing EDS center stage for leading electronic component distributors.

  • 2002
    First Installation in Europe

    Ten years after the company is founded, Axiom Software officially goes global with the first installation in Europe.

  • 2003
    First ePDS/Warehouse Installation

    For the first time, distributors connect their ERP directly to their barcode terminal, fully integrating their warehouse and ERP.

  • 2007
    First Axiom Software User Summit

    Axiom Software hosts the inaugural in-person user summit, bringing the entire ePDS community together for the first time.

  • 2009
    First ePDS/Web Installation

    Axiom Software launches ePDS/Web, giving distributors the freedom to conduct sales directly from their website.

    First Installation in Asia

    Axiom Software broadens their global reach in the distribution industry with the first installation in Asia.

    Launch of AxMobile

    Axiom Software goes mobile for the first time, empowering salesforces worldwide with this revolutionary tablet-based application.

    AxiomHQ Development Complete

Our Leadership Team

Jeffrey Yagoda is the President of Axiom Software. He co-founded Axiom with Vice President Rocco Troiano in 1992 and has guided the ongoing evolution of the company, establishing Axiom as the industry-leading ERP software provider you see today. As President, Jeffrey is responsible for inspiration and design of its state-of-the-art software solutions as well as the overall administration of the company.


Prior to founding Axiom Software, Jeffrey held a number of distinguished roles in industry-leading organizations. He served as an electrical engineer for Kodak, a senior consultant for Arthur Anderson, and a partner with Abram and Yagoda Systems Group. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University as well as an MBA from Boston University.

Rocco Troiano is the Vice President of Axiom Software. He co-founded Axiom with President Jeffrey Yagoda in 1992 and has remained a key leader since its inception. As Vice President, Rocco is responsible for all Sales, Development, and Operations at Axiom. In addition to leading the evolution of Axiom Software, Rocco is the chief architect of all the Axiom Software systems.


With over three decades of experience in ERP systems for the distribution industry, Rocco brings a wealth of expertise in Systems Architecture and Systems Implementation to the Axiom Software team. Bonding with clients and forming long, healthy business relationships is a trademark quality he possesses. Prior to his work at Axiom Software, Rocco served in similar leadership and Systems Architecture roles at IBM and Abram and Yagoda Systems Group. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Mercy College.

Tara Murphy is the Project Manager at Axiom Software. She is the dedicated point person for every new client, spearheading every new software installation to ensure a smooth, seamless transition from their legacy system to their new ERP software. Tara also manages ongoing projects for existing clients, providing personal, reliable support every step of the way.


Tara joined Axiom Software in 2007. She holds a BA in Philosophy from Fordham University and an MBA from Iona College. Prior to joining Axiom Software, Tara was a systems analyst at Montefiore Medical Center and served as a staff accountant at J. Walter Thompson.

Project Manager

David Kiley is the Manager of Customer Services at Axiom Software. He leads our team of Support Specialists, Quality Assurance Technicians, and Technical Documentation Specialists. Dave and his team possess a wealth of expertise in information systems and supply chain management, enabling them to provide custom tailored solutions that fulfill specific organizational needs and resolve business information problems for Axiom’s 100+ distributor base.


Dave has been with the Axiom Software team since 2005. He brings over 25 years of systems experience to the Axiom Software team, holding a variety of technical roles in other industry-leading companies, including Systems Analysis & Design, Software Implementation, and Software Support. He holds a BS in Business Administration and Computer Information Systems from Mercy College.
